🛡️ Escrow Terms and Conditions
1. Agreement to Terms
By using our escrow service, you agree to these terms. This is a manual escrow service where we act as a trusted third party to hold payments during dog transactions.
2. How Escrow Works
Buyer sends payment to us → We confirm receipt → Seller delivers the dog → Buyer confirms receipt → We release payment to seller.
3. Buyer's Responsibilities
• Send payment within 48 hours of starting escrow
• Provide accurate contact information
• Inspect the dog upon delivery and confirm receipt promptly
• Report any issues within 48 hours of receiving the dog
4. Seller's Responsibilities
• Deliver the dog as described in the listing
• Provide health records and vaccination documents
• Transfer ownership documents if applicable
• Ship or deliver the dog within agreed timeframe
5. Our Role
We hold the payment safely and release it only after both parties fulfill their obligations. We do not own, sell, or broker dogs - we simply facilitate safe transactions.
6. Disputes
If either party has issues, they can request help through our support system at no cost. Our team will review the case and make a fair determination based on evidence from both parties. In rare cases where extensive investigation is required (such as reviewing media files, coordinating with shipping carriers, or consulting third-party professionals), a small mediation fee may apply to cover administrative costs.
7. Refunds
Refunds are issued at our discretion if: dog is not as described, seller fails to deliver, or buyer returns dog in same condition within 48 hours.
8. Fees
Our escrow service is FREE for buyers. We do not charge any fees for holding or transferring funds.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are a payment facilitation platform only. We do not own, broker, sell, or transport any dogs. We are not responsible for: the health, temperament, or quality of dogs; any injuries or damages caused by dogs; disputes between buyers and sellers regarding the dog itself; shipping delays or issues; any misrepresentation by buyers or sellers; or any laws or regulations violated in transactions. Our liability is limited to the escrow amount we hold.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our platform is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the identity of users, or the outcome of any transaction.
11. Indemnification
By using our platform, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our platform or any violation of these terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
13. User Conduct
Users must be at least 18 years old. All transactions must comply with local, state, and federal laws regarding animal sales. We reserve the right to ban any user for any reason.
14. Privacy
We collect only necessary information to process transactions. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
